The Somali Immigrant Aid Organization has served the settlement needs of Somalis in Canada for the past 14 years. The Somali Immigrant Aid Organization (SIAO) is a non-profit community based organization and represents the growing interests of the Somali immigrants in Metro Toronto through a full range of services; integration and settlement services; and the preservation of the Somali Culture.

A non-profit organization, Somali Immigrant Aid Organization has been providing a number of needed direct services within our own community. These services range from settlement services to individual counselling and family support. As additional programs SIAO has also provided the human services sector with education and support for understanding and working with our Somali Community. A SIAO Board member also sits on various community committees and work groups. The following include the main services provided:
